Blackberry Summer
6 cups puréed
blackberries
2 cups lemon juice
2 Tbsp lemon zest
5 cups half-and-half
milk
20 ounces sweetened
condensed milk
Graham crackers or
chocolate chip cookies
In a large bowl, combine
the blackberries, lemon juice and lemon
zest. Blend on
"Low" until the ingredients are well blended. The
mixture will contain
some seeds and that is OK. Pour in the half-and-
half milk and condensed
milk. Continue blending until the mixture is
foamy. Pour the mixture
into a large container and freeze for 2 hours.
Enjoy this treat with graham crackers or
chocolate chip cookies.
