Hot Italian Patio Bites Handed From the Gods

1 large platter 2 boxes Good Thins crackers 2 lb Emmental cheese – sliced into 2-inch cubes 1 jar Aioli 2 lb Capocollo hot Italian meat – thinly sliced – cubed 1 jar mint jelly – warmed 3 or 4 bottles white wine
On a large platter, evenly arrange Good Thins crackers until the platter is fully covered and then top each cracker with a slice of Emmental cheese. Next, place a teaspoon of Aioli on top of each cheese slice and then place a slice of Capocollo hot Italian meat on top of the Aioli. Lastly, top each hors-d'oeuvre with a teaspoon of mint jelly and a cracker. Serve these hearty bites with 3 or 4 bottles of your favorite white wine. Enjoy!!

Luke's Little Bacon

1 lb bacon 1 large skillet 2 cups maple syrup 2 cups chocolate spread – soften 1 cup almonds – chopped
First, fry 1 pound of bacon in a skillet, over “Medium” heat, and then drain any excess grease from the bacon. Use a fork to crumble the bacon into cube-shaped bits and then blend 2 cups of maple syrup into the bacon. Stir the mixture thoroughly for 1 minute. Next, reduce your stove's heat to “Low” and then blend soften chocolate spread into the bacon mixture. Stir the ingredients until well blended. Lastly, blend chopped almonds into the mixture and stir the ingredients for 1 minute. Enjoy this bacon treat over bread, meats and other foods.

Olives In Potatoes

1 large pot 4 large potatoes – washed and peeled Cold water 1 Tbsp salt 4 Tbsp red chili peppers – chopped 2 Tbsp black pepper 2 cups black olives – sliced 1 Tbsp white wine
In a large pot over “Medium” heat, combine potatoes and enough water to fully cover the potatoes. Cook the potatoes until soft but not mushy – add water when needed to continue the cooking process. Next, use a masher to mash the potatoes until creamy and then add salt to the potatoes. Lastly, blend red chili peppers, black pepper, black olives and white wine into the potatoes. Stir the mixture thoroughly and then enjoy these mashed potatoes with any meal. Enjoy!!

Pinon Dippy Dip

1 large plastic container 4 cups sour cream 3 cups pinon nuts – chopped 1 Tbsp black pepper 1 Tbsp sea salt Fancy crackers
In a large plastic container, combine sour cream, chopped pinon nuts, black pepper and sea salt. Stir the dip thoroughly – about 4 minutes. Chill the dip for 2 hours and then enjoy it with some fancy crackers.

Lemon Wheels on Central

1 large pitcher 5 lemons – sliced and peeled 5 cups Vodka 1 cup water 1 cup lemon juice Ice
In a large pitcher, combine lemons, Vodka and water. Stir the ingredients thoroughly and then blend lemon juice and ice – enough to fill the pitcher - into the mixture. Stir the mixture until it is well blended. Chill the cocktail for 1 hour and then enjoy!! 

Pesto, Pesto and Mix

2 cups arugula – chopped 2 cups lettuce – chopped 1 cup lemon juice – fresh 1 cup olive oil 1 cup Parmesan cheese 1 tsp garlic salt 2 cups pine nuts – chopped 1 tsp sea salt 1 Tbsp black pepper
1 large plastic container with a lid
In a food processor or blender, combine arugula, lettuce, lemon juice and olive oil. Blend on “Low” for 1 minute. Next, blend Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, pine nuts, sea salt and black pepper into the mixture. Blend on “Low” until the pesto is well blended. Transfer the pesto into a large plastic container, cover the container with a lid and chill the mixture for 2 hours before using. 

Enjoy this creamy treat over any dish!!

Cool Ass Coffee

2 cups coffee – freshly brewed 2 scoops chocolate ice cream 3 ice cubes 2 cups chocolate chip cookies – chopped 2 tall glasses
In a blender, combine 2 cups of freshly brewed coffee, 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream and 3 ice cubes. Blend the ingredients on “High” for 3 minutes and then blend 2 cups of chopped chocolate chip cookies into the mixture. Blend the mixture until it is well blended – about 5 minutes. Serve this cool treat in 2 tall glasses. 




Spicy Holiday On The 17th

1 large skillet 2 lb ground beef 2 Tbsp chili powder 2 Tbsp minced onion 2 cups green peppers – chopped 2 cups tomatoes – chopped 2 packs cream cheese – soften 2 bags plain chips 1 large platter Dark beer
In a large skillet over “High” heat, brown 2 pounds of ground beef and then drain any excess grease from the meat once the browning process is complete. Next, add chili powder, minced onion, green peppers and tomatoes into the ground beef. Stir the ingredients thoroughly and cook the mixture for 10 minutes. Lastly, blend 2 packs of soften cream cheese into the mixture. Stir the ingredients until well blended and then let the dish simmer for 5 minutes. While the dish is simmering, place 2 bags worth of plain chips onto a large platter and then pour the ground beef mixture on top of the chips. Enjoy this hearty dish along with bottles and bottles of dark beer.



Chard Is the Word...the Word

1 large salad bowl 2 bunches chard – chopped into medium pieces 2 bunches leeks – chopped 1 cup olive oil 1 cup walnuts - chopped 2 cups apricot jam – soften
In a large salad bowl, combine chard and leeks. Toss the ingredients thoroughly and then blend 1 cup of olive oil into the salad. Next, blend 1 cup of chopped walnuts into the salad. Lastly, blend 2 cups of soften apricot jam into the salad. Toss the salad until the jam is mixed thoroughly into the other ingredients. Enjoy!!

Chili Shoulder for Saturday

3 cups red wine 1 large baking dish 4 lb pork shoulder 2 tsp sea salt 4 Tbsp red chili peppers – chopped 2 Tbsp black pepper 2 cups pinon nuts ½ cup sugar Dinner rolls Red wine
To start, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and then add 3 cups of red wine to a large baking dish. Next, place a 4 pound pork shoulder in the center of the dish and then sprinkle sea salt, red chili peppers and black pepper over the meat. Rub the ingredients gently into the meat. Lastly, add 2 cups of pinon nuts and ½ cup of sugar to the baking dish. Place the dish in your oven and let the meat cook for 4 to 5 hours – the meat should fall off the bone. Enjoy this pork shoulder with your favorite dinner rolls and red wine. Enjoy!!!




More Salami and Cheese Than Needed

1 large skillet 2 Tbsp butter 1 large beefsteak tomato – sliced 2 slices rye or wheat bread 8 slices salami 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard Shredded cheese
In a large skillet over “High” heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and then fry 1 sliced beefsteak tomato. Fry the tomato slices for about 2 minutes and then remove the tomato slices from the skillet. Next, toast 2 slices of rye or wheat bread in the skillet. Leave the toast in the skillet and layer 8 slices of salami evenly on the toast and then layer the tomato slices evenly over the salami. Lastly, spread 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard over the tomato slices and then sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese over the layered ingredients. Carefully flip one side of the sandwich on top of the other side. Press the sandwich down and let the cheese melt. Flip the sandwich over to aid the cheese-melting process.




Hot Tea For a Hot Morning

1 small pot 3 cups cold water 4 tea bags – black tea 4 lemons – peeled and sliced ½ cup whiskey
In a small pot over “Low” heat, combine cold water and black tea. Stir the mixture slowly until the water starts to boil. Next, blend 4 sliced lemons into the tea mixture. Let the mixture come to a boil and then turn off your stove's heat. Lastly, let the tea simmer for 10 minutes and then blend whiskey into the drink. Enjoy this drink in the morning to boost your day!

Beans to Die With and For

1 large pot 1 lb kidney beans – soaked for 24 hours and washed Cold water 5 Serrano peppers – chopped 5 Habanero peppers – chopped 1 cup shallots – chopped 2 cups onions – chopped 3 garlic cloves – minced 5 cups jalapenos – chopped 2 Tbsp sea salt 4 Tbsp black pepper Large bowl
In a large pot over “Low” heat, combine kidney beans and enough water to cover the beans. Cook the beans for 3 hours – adding water when needed. Do not exceed the 3-hour limit. Once the time limit is met, blend Serrano and Habanero peppers into the beans. Stir the ingredients thoroughly and then add shallots, onions, cloves and jalapenos to the beans. Next, increase your stove's heat to “High” and let the beans come to a boil as the ingredients blend together. Stir the mixture as the ingredients are boiling and then let the beans cook for an additional 30 minutes. Finally, add sea salt and black pepper to the beans. Stir the mixture until well blended and then turn off your stove's heat. Let the beans rest for 15 …

Creamy Butter Delight

1 large jar 4 cups soften butter 3 Tbsp black peppercorns 2 cups chives 2 cups cranberries – chopped
In a large jar, combine soften butter and black peppercorns. Stir the ingredients thoroughly and then blend chives and cranberries into the mixture. Stir the butter mixture until it is well blended. Chill the butter for 20 minutes and then spread it on your favorite bread or crackers.



Hot Like Blueberry

1 large pot 1 cup blueberries 1 cup vanilla Vodka ½ cup water 2 cups blueberry Vodka
In a large pot over “Low” heat, combine blueberries, vanilla Vodka and water. Stir the ingredients slowly for 3 minutes. Next, blend blueberry Vodka into the mixture and let the ingredients heat for 4 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the cocktail cool for 2 minutes before serving. Enjoy!!


Cool Coming For You

1 bananas – frozen and chopped 2 cups almond milk - cold 1 cup chopped almonds 1 Tbsp vanilla extract 1 Tbsp honey 1 Tbsp nutmeg
In a blender, combine bananas, almond milk and chopped almonds. Blend on “High” for 2 minutes and then blend vanilla extract, honey and nutmeg into the mixture. Blend on “Low” for 2 minutes. Serve this cold drink in a tall glass. 

Chocolate + Bacon = Mmmmmm

1 skillet 1 lb bacon ½ cup honey 1 Tbsp butter 1 bag chocolate chips Toast or crackers
In a skillet, fry 1 pound of bacon and then drain the grease from the skillet. Next, use a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the bacon into cubes and then blend honey and butter into the bacon mixture. Stir the mixture thoroughly. Lastly, blend 1 bag of chocolate chips into the bacon mixture. Stir the ingredients until the chocolate chips are melted and the mixture is well blended. Enjoy this bacon treat on toast or crackers.

Time to Pair This Cheese and Wine

1 large fancy platter 6 large wine glasses 4 bottles white wine - chilled 3 boxes fancy crackers 2 lbs Gruyere – cubed 1 lb Brie – sliced 2 lbs Camembert – cubed 1 lb green olives - whole 1 lb black olives – whole 1 lb Gorgonzola - shredded 2 packages fancy napkins
To start, place a large fancy platter in the center of a table or countertop and then arrange 6 large wine glasses around the platter. Next, fill each glass with 4 bottles of your favorite white wine and then place 3 boxes of fancy crackers evenly on the platter. Place a cube of Gruyere cheese on a third of the crackers and then place a piece of sliced Brie on a third of the crackers on the platter. Place Camembert on the last third of the remaining crackers. Top each cracker/cheese group with 1 green olive and 1 black olive. Lastly, sprinkle shredded Gorgonzola on top of dish and then arrange 2 packages of fancy napkins around the platter. Enjoy!!

Thick as Think

1 saucepan 1 lb thick-cut bacon 1 large plate – covered in paper towels 2 cups red bell peppers – sliced 1 cup hot chili paste 2 Tbsp black pepper 1 large platter 1 package toothpicks
In a saucepan over “High” heat, fry 1 pound of thick-cut bacon. Place the fried bacon onto a paper towel-covered plate and pat out any excess grease from the bacon. Once the bacon is all fried, place 2 cups of sliced red bell peppers in the saucepan and then add 1 cup of hot chili paste to the pan. Saute the ingredients until the peppers are tender. Next, add black pepper to the mixture. Place the bacon evenly on the large platter and then place a tablespoon of the pepper mixture onto each strip of bacon. The mixture will come out of the sides a little and that is OK. Lastly, roll the strips of bacon into pinwheels and secure each wheel with a toothpick. Enjoy!!

In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, salami, black pepper and sea salt. Stir the ingredients gently and then blend black and green olives into the mixture. Next, blend Cheddar and Asiago cheese into the tomato mixture. Stir the ingredients thoroughly and then blend olive oil into the ingredients and stir the salad for 1 minute. Lastly, top the salad with parsley and enjoy this healthy treat with a glass or two of red wine.
