I Work Better Meals

6 cans dark beer
4 lb steak – beef with bone removed
2 Tbsp black pepper
1 Tbsp sea salt
1 large baking dish
2 cups white onions – chopped
2 cups green bell peppers – chopped
1 large platter
½ lb butter
2 bottles California Cabernet – chilled

To start, combine 3 cans dark beer, 4 pounds of beef steak, black pepper and sea salt in a large baking dish. Place the baking dish in your refrigerator for 24 hours and let the meat soak in the beer. After the soaking process is complete, remove the dish from your refrigerator and let the dish come to room temperature. Next, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and then add 3 cans of dark beer, 2 cups of chopped white onions and 2 cups of chopped green bell peppers to the dish. Stir the ingredients gently and then place the baking dish in your oven. Let the meat cook for 2 hours or until the meat contains a lite pink center – you may have to add beer or water to the dish if the beer cooks out. Once the meat is done, remove the dish from your oven and let the meat rest for 15 minutes. Lastly, transfer the meat to a large platter and then place ½ pound of butter on top of the meat – the butter will slowly melt over the meat. Enjoy this tasty piece of meat with 2 or more bottles of chilled California Cabernet.
