Provolone Rolling and Provolone Baking

cups soy sauce

lbs Provolone cheese – sliced
2
lbs cooked ham – sliced
2
lbs red onions – sliced
2
or 3 bottles red wine
To
start, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and then apply a thin layer
of cooking spray to a large baking dish. Next, combine ground beef or
chuck, black pepper, sea salt and soy sauce in a large bowl and then
use your hands to blend the ingredients together. Work the mixture
until the soy sauce is fully mixed into the ground beef or chuck.
Place the meat mixture onto a cutting board and then flatten the
mixture with your hands. Lastly, place 2 pounds of sliced Provolone
cheese on top of the meat mixture and then layer 2 pounds of sliced
ham next and lastly layer 2 pounds of sliced red onions. Roll the
meat mixture up into a roll and then place the roll in the center of
the baking dish. Bake the meat roll for 1 hour and 25 minutes – do
not exceed this cooking time. Once the meat roll is done, remove the
dish from the oven and pour 2 cups of red wine over the meat. Enjoy
this dish with 1 or more glasses of red wine!!
